About: Before joining Oury Clark Solicitors to head its Property Department, Denis had an extensive career with two central London law firms in the property and business legal sectors. He is involved in the full legal spectrum of property transactions. He assists business clients, especially in London and south east England, in fulfilling their premises needs whether for offices, retail, warehousing, IT or industrial units. All aspects of leases are covered as well as the acquisition/disposal of freeholds. In addition Denis acts for investors, whether UK or international, wishing to enhance their portfolio participation in the UK commercial property market - invariably this involves close liaison with financial lending institutions. Denis gained in depth experience of international legal work during the years he acted as part-time director of Consulegis EEIG a global network of nearly 100 independent law firms. This has equipped him to understand the requirements of overseas clients in establishing themselves in the UK. He has travelled widely in India where he also has developed business interests and property contacts in this fast growing economy. He has lectured in India on a variety of legal issues. On the home front as a Londoner born and bred Denis appreciates all that this city has to offer especially its historical connections and the visual arts.
